I love breakfast! So much so that, I went to bed last night dreaming of what I would have in the morning. A bowl of oatmeal…loaded with sweet bright red strawberries and creamy yogurt. Yep, that would be it! Now, if you know me, you know I love my sleep. My guys are night owls, but not me. I’m the first in pjs, laying in bed, and love to sleep in. With thoughts of Strawberries N’ Cream Oatmeal stirring in my head…this is one of the first times I actually want sleep to go by fast!
I say it all the time…I love oatmeal. My love for oatmeal began when I was a kid. I loved those little bags of Quaker Instant Oatmeal. They were one thing I could make on my own and Strawberries N’ Cream was always my favorite.
But, now I think of those little bags with sad, dehydrated strawberries and know I can make my own delicious Strawberries N’ Cream Oatmeal.
Strawberries are among my most favorite fruits. A long time ago, we lived in California and near our home where strawberry fields. I would love to drive pass those fields with the windows rolled down. The air was full of the sweet scent of fresh berries. It was magical!
Strawberries have been studied for years and their health benefits are fantastic! Strawberries are a deliciously rich source of vitamin C.
